Unexpected beachside delights

Woke up to gentle waves and fresh seafood served at the beachside restaurant. The family room was spacious, and my kids made friends quickly in the cute atmosphere.

The only issue was the outdated bathroom facilities. It detracted slightly from our overall enjoyment.

Perfect accommodation to enjoy the sea, region and cuisine. Extremely friendly and helpful service in the reception, beach and restaurant. Selected good food with a large selection, very nicely served. Extensive wine list with very good advice.

Inconsistent service quality!!! Rooms certainly feel dated, updated furnishings are a must!!! Charging for beach towels feels a bit off, unexpected fees can really spoil the experience!!!

The hotel reputation is Average, not Superb at all. I've stayed in hotels that the reputation indicated on Booked.net was Superb and has nothing to do with this one. The best part of Hotel del Golfo was the bedroom, which was redesigned. The staff is very kind and the hotel has a private beach.

You expect more from the hotel, than they delivery, considering the price. The bedroom had a lot of noise from the other appartments around, as well from people walking in the corridor and their luggage. The acoustic from the walls, upper floor and doors don't seen efficient. The bed and pillows are very hard, even after requesting softer ones... The dinner was very expensive and the food very average. The nice staff compensated... The pool service is very expensive as well. Next time I would choose another hotel to stay.

Private beach access

A fabulous stay at a fabulous hotel. The pool, the beach, the service were all amazing. We had a very relaxing break.

Rooms a little dated but seriously not a problem. This place is great!

500 feet away there is The Bounty. The sea view was a bonus.

Very nice experience, fine beach, attentive staff.

The private beach is very nice as was the pool. The poolside staff were very efficient and cocktails came with aperitivi which we felt was good value for money. The location in Procchio is very relaxing and much nicer than the main town of Elba, Portoferraio.

There were some inefficiencies which cost us quite a lot of our time and there is also a charge for washing beach towels which was a surprise.
